Before the rain came, I met up with Aimee & Roger at the park.  It had been a while since I’d seen these two!  They have been planning this wedding for a couple of years & if I am not mistaken, I believe I was the first decision they made.  Well, other than to marry each other

I sit them down and begin to review ‘the rules’ (I don’t really have rules, they are more like guidelines…) Roger explains that he is allergic to grass… this puzzles me… I stumble over my words & try to think of a plan.  Then they both begin to laugh.  I am quite gullable, if you tell me something with sincerity I’ll believe just about anything.  My mother once told me she had specially made me fat free french fries- I licked the plate & never questioned the impossible: fat free french fries?!?

We are shooting Aimee & Roger’s wedding this June at the Lake of the Ozarks!  I am really excited- it will be the first wedding we’ve done down there.  PLUS we get to see familiar faces.  This couple found out about me through Dale & Andrea.  For those of you who are new to the blog, Dale & Andrea are two of our favorite people!  Ashlee & I traveled to shoot their wedding in June of 2007 AND we captured another wedding for the family last year.   I feel privildged to capture their family moments & I honored to consider them friends.

Of course this also lead me to Aimee & Roger!I color corrected these images on my laptop… I’m not quite sure my color is exact on that thing but I am working on it.  If these colors are slightly off, please imagine them bright & lovely
