I’ve been braving the heat & so have my couples! It’s a bit of a shock since last year was a relatively mild summer. We were lucky enough to have a nice breeze the afternoon I met with Lauren & Jeff. The air blowing off of the lake was cooler than the surrounding heat so it provided a nice reprieve & allowed us to remain comfortable & relaxed.
Besides, this couple flew in from Dallas for the weekend & that place is HOT this time of year!! I can’t even complain about the heat we have here. It’s still nothing compared to the years I spent in Savannah. Seriously, that place is ALWAYS hot & humid. We always have a nice breeze in KC.
Trust me, that’s worth more than you can imagine on a hot day!
These two love birds met in Dallas but they are both from Kansas City! They told me what a wonderful experience it has been connecting their two families. I can’t imagine how amazing it must be to meet your soul mate in a random place, then later learn that you grew up just miles from one another. So perfect! It’s quite apparent how in love these two are-
It was easy getting these guys to smile. I simply love Laurens laugh & 1000 watt smile, she can light up a room with those pearly whites!
