Some of you may remember my mention of the Photogirls from time to time.  I feel so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful group of entrepreneurial women.  They are all quite fantastic!  Not only are they all very talented photographers but all of us have special projects near & dear to our hearts.  This week I am excited to make TWO incredible announcements on the Photogirl front.

My gal pal, Brooke Mayo working out of the Outerbanks in North Carolina, just released her first book: Diving Doggies: A Celebration of Play Underwater! She & I have discussed this project at length & I couldn’t be prouder of all of the hard work she has done. This beautiful photo book stars man’s best friend at play in a different scene than the typical ‘pet portraits’  we are used to seeing.  Brooke captures the playful spirits of our animal friends with ease, in an environment that is all but easy to shoot!

The second announcement I have is from Malie Wilson & her beautiful new feminine camera bags that double as a stylish purse!  This bags are super chic & the best part is that they don’t scream ‘I am a camera bag, please steal me!‘  My husband really dislikes the fact that I carry my standard camera bags on vacation.  Thieves are more clever these days & know to look for the name brand camera bags.  It’s made me paranoid when I travel & I am so excited to start sporting my own camera bag fashionista-style purse!!
