We’re staying busy around here, booking quickly for 2010! Theoretically, I was supposed to take some time in July & August to get caught up & prepare for the Fall wedding season. Instead I’ve been shooting constantly! Shooting is my favorite part of the job- it’s the business side of things that always gets me behind. And the perfectionist in me doesn’t help!
Last week I met up with Avery & her adorable mom, Elizabeth, to take some portraits to commemorate Avery’s last year in high school. As wonderful as this transition can be, it’s difficult for a mom to watch their child grow into their own person & move away to attend college. I can still remember the week that I moved away to Savannah to attend art school… my mom pulled me into her bedroom & rocked me in the old rocking chair. I thought it was strange, but I didn’t understand then what I understand now.
