Mother Nature canceled our Photogirls retreat this year & I was really looking forward to a week away with some girlfriends.  I was nervous to leave my sick husband at home but desperate to have a few days to myself.  I was excited when my gal pal, Brooke Mayo, offered to have me out to her home in North Carolina.  I was excited to spend a few days with Brookie but I also thought ‘surely it would be warmer in NC‘?!’

Imagine my surprise when I arrived to see snow… ON THE BEACH- it was quite a site! And I left my snow pants at home!?

Brooke & her hubby John are expecting their first child this April.  I had to take the opportunity to get some fun images for the record books.  I really think pregnant ladies are absolutely beautiful, especially my girl Brooke! We had a great week together & we both have beautiful images to show for it.  She took some new headshots for me!

Too cute!  Her puppy dog was following us around the entire time- sooo we included her in the shots.  I loved this one!

We met up with her assistant & second shooter Carrie.  I wanted to take a few photos of them together, as I know how hard this is to do with Ashlee! And this time, I wasn’t looking to show off the belly!
