On a windy but beautiful Saturday afternoon, Ashlee & I joined with some of our favorite people to pull together the wedding of Melissa & Casey.  We worked with a team of stellar people who made this event come together with perfection!  And we got to work with our favorite band (Michael Beers Band) & the all-time most organized coordinator: Mrs. Kindra Browne (of Simple Elegance).  The wind provided an additional challenge, especially when it came to the bride’s veil.  Now personally, as a photographer, I enjoy a little wind.  It can add an unexpected element that distracts my subjects & sometimes this can be really fun.

But on Melissa & Casey’s wedding day, we had SERIOUS wind!  The recorded gusts made their way up to 25 MPH, which can be a challenge for a bride in a cathedral length veil!  Despite the challenge provided by the wind, all of the details came together beautifully.  It was a spectacular day, thanks to all of those who made it!

I LOVED the little flower girl dresses!  The bride ordered them from an artist on Esty & it was a unique way to change things up.  The little girls were twirling around in them all day.  The light caught the fabric of the skirts & it simply made the little girls glow!!
