There is always a kick in my step when I start a wedding with some of my favorite people to work with.  It simplifies the process when I don’t have to coordinate the day… which inevitably happens when there is no wedding planner scheduled on the day of the wedding.  But the Simple Elegance staff was there in full force (thank you Holly, both Lindsey’s & Kristen!)  We were at the Intercontinental (I’ve also been here more than any other venue in Kansas City) & looking forward to Michael Beers launching the reception party.  It was simply bound to be the perfect day!

When I got my first look at Katie, she was wearing a track suit anxiously waiting to slip on her gown.  And even before she stepped foot in her gown- she looked amazing.  I think she could have worn that track suit all day & she still would have remained the center of attention…  of course it’s best to simply let the photos speak for themselves!
