Only 48 hours before my birthday, Emmaline started saying ‘ma-mama-mama-ma’.  A couple of days before that she started saying ‘dada’ but over the last week her favorite word consistently was ‘mama’.  It’s incredibly sweet.  Although it is hard to deny her when she calls out to me… she clearly has me figured out.  And it’s not quite as sweet in the wee hours of the morning.  It’s still so hard to believe that March is just around the corner & we will be celebrating her first year.

She’s quickly mastering the stairs & she started clapping last month.  Giving us hi-fives & clapping her hands in delight when she feels she has accomplished something.

Surprising me everyday with baby hugs & sloppy wet kisses. I’m in love with this baby.
