If you are traveling into Kansas City, you are responsible for your own transportation & lodging.  I am located 30 minutes South of the Kansas City Airport in the Overland Park area.  There are plenty of affordable places to stay in the area.

The White Haven, it’s cute & quaint and conveniently located.  You’ll be 15 minutes from the Plaza & only a few minutes away from the workshop.
